Family Legal Protection will provide you with legal assistance and confidential advice to help you should you find yourself involved in a legal dispute. With Dial Direct’s Family Legal Protection you are covered for up to £50,000 of legal costs.

Family Legal Protection is there to provide you with financial support and a confidential legal helpline that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to give you help when you really need it

What it covers

  • Up to £50,000 cover for legal costs
  • 24 hour, 365 days emergency help line
  • Assistance with employment, residential or consumer disputes
  • Assistance with personal injury claims

What isn't covered

  • Claims must have a reasonable prospect of success
  • We must be notified within 90 days of the insured event
  • Motor related personal injury claims are not covered
  • Claims may be subject to an excess of £100
  • Employment claims cannot be made within 90 days of the policy start date. For neighbourly disputes, this is extended to 180 days of the policy start date
