Your policy includes Roadside and Recovery as standard and you could chose to upgrade your cover further.

What's covered?

  • UK roadside - if you're more than 1/4 mile from your home address, the RAC will aim to fix your car at the roadside, with no call out charge.
  • UK roadside and recovery - the same cover as UK roadside, but the RAC will also take your vehicle and up to 8 passengers to your chosen destination or to your home address.

Remember, all tiers do not cover

  • Breakdowns that could have been prevented by regular servicing of the vehicle
  • The costs of parts, fuel or other supplies are excluded
  • Any claim that isn't a breakdown - i.e. Road traffic accident
  • Any labour provided at the garage to which the vehicle was taken
  • Any motor caravan, or vehicle in excess of 3.5 tonnes gross vehicle mass, or longer than 5.5m (7.0m when towing a trailer or caravan)
