Below is a brief summary of the cover provided
under your home insurance policy.

wording which is provided when you take out contents insurance with Dial Direct.
- All household furniture and furnishings
and high risk items kept within the property.
- Cover for
outbuildings up to a maximum of £2000.
- £500
of cover for contents in the open.
- 20% of the sum insured for contents away
from the property.
- Replacement
locks and keys cover of £250.
- Accidental breakage to home entertainment
equipment.
- Fire, Smoke, Lightning, explosion, thunderbolt
or earthquake.
- Storm or flood.
- Escape of water or oil from any fixed
water or heating installation or domestic appliance.
- Riot, civil commotion, strikes, labour
or political disturbances.
- Theft, attempted theft, vandalism or
malicious acts.
- Subsidence, ground heave or landslip
of the site in which your property sits.
- Damage caused by falling trees, aerials
or satellite receiving equipment.
- Freezer Contents
up to a maximum of £500.
- Alternative
accommodation up to the lower of £10,000 or 20% building
sum insured.
- Cash cover
up to £350 and for Credit
Cards of £500.
- Guest’s property up to £500.
- Cover for
Personal Documents up to £500.
- Legal responsibility as a tenant up
to 15% of the sum insured.
- Public Liability
cover up to £2,000,000.
- Increase in contents cover by 10% during
the Christmas period and before and after Weddings.
- Loss of oil or metered water up to 10%
of the contents sum insured.
- Optional accidental damage extension
(an additional premium will apply).
